School Based Therapists
Eagle County School District (ECSD) is proud to launch its very own School-Based Therapy Program, dedicated to supporting the mental health and well-being of all students across the district.
Beginning with the 2025–26 school year, licensed mental health therapists will be embedded in every ECSD school — from elementary through high school — to provide accessible, on-campus therapy services. These therapists will offer individual, group, and crisis intervention services during the school day, ensuring students receive timely, compassionate support without the common barriers of transportation, scheduling conflicts, or stigma.
Working in close collaboration with school counselors, educators, administrators, and families, ECSD’s school-based therapists will help address a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Services will be available to all students at no cost to families, funded through a combination of district resources, grants, and generous community support.
This program is a vital part of ECSD’s commitment to fostering safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environments where every student can thrive — academically, socially, and emotionally.
Please speak to the School Counselor at your child's school to discuss a referral.
