Dual Enrollment

Dual Enrollment (DE), often referred to as Concurrent Enrollment, refers to a type of class high school students are able to take in which students earn high school and college credit at the same time. Eagle County School District partners with Colorado Mountain College to offer college-level classes in our high schools within the regular high school bell schedule.

DE classes offer an opportunity for students to get a jump start on earning college credits while saving money. Eagle County School District pays the tuition expenses for students enrolled in DE classes that earn a 70% or higher in the class. College credit is earned when the student finishes the class with a 70% or higher final grade.

DE credits are recognized by most Colorado colleges and universities.

High school students who are interested in registering for DE classes should contact their school counselor.
