CTE Program
Career and Technical Education (CTE) is programming that directly prepares students for high-wage, high-demand careers. CTE covers many different fields, including automotive technology, building trades, health care, information technology, and more. Learn more about CTE.
CTE classes are an opportunity for students to explore their career interests and earn high school and college credit. Career and Technical Education encompasses many different types of education, from classroom learning to certification programs to work-based learning opportunities outside the classroom. In Colorado (on average), 34% of Colorado high school students were enrolled in at least one CTE class.
High school students who are interested in registering for CTE classes should contact their school counselor.
