Concurrent Enrollment

Concurrent Enrollment (CE), previously referred to as Dual Enrollment (DE), is a type of class high school students are able to take in which they earn high school and college credit at the same time. Eagle County School District partners with Colorado Mountain College and the University of Colorado Colorado Springs to offer college-level classes in our high schools within the regular high school bell schedule.

CE classes offer an opportunity for students to get a jump start on earning college credits while saving money. Eagle County School District pays the tuition expenses for students enrolled in CE classes that pass the class successfully. College credit is earned when the student finishes the class with a passing final grade.

Concurrent Enrollment credits are recognized by most Colorado colleges and universities, as well as some out of state institutions, and are likely eligible for guaranteed transfer.

High school students who are interested in registering for Concurrent Enrollment classes should contact their school counselor.
