CareerWise
CareerWise is a youth-apprenticeship program available to students to apply for in their Junior year, with program participation beginning the summer before their Senior year. Through CareerWise, students connect with local business partners to "earn while they learn." Depending on the program, students earn high school elective credit(s), work 16-40 hours a week, and make between $12 and $18 per hour for their work.
An additional benefit of a CareerWise apprenticeship is that, upon completion, some students are offered a job with the business partner they apprenticed with.
