Information Literacy: Civic Online Reasoning

The Civic Online Reasoning (COR) Curriculum, created by the Digital Inquiry Group, focuses on supporting students in becoming thoughtful digital citizens.  This was initially part of the Stanford History Education Group, but branched off in 2024.  The curriculum helps students develop skills that target these three questions:

  1. Who's behind the information?
  2. What's the evidence?
  3. What do other sources say?

COR offers general lessons with a diverse set of resources linked that can be applied to any classroom AND content-specific "collections" for science and history classrooms.
