Dr. Ashley Winnen, Director of Instruction
My primary responsibility is to foster structures and systems that support educators in increasing their teaching capacity through professional learning opportunities.
I work with: Principals, Instructional Leadership Teams, and Teacher Leaders.
I specialize in: Identifying instructional best practices, Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), and Teacher Leader Coaching.
Renee Westenfelder, Director of Curriculum
My primary responsibility is to support the curricular needs of Eagle County Schools. I ensure our curriculum is aligned with academic standards and supported with age appropriate resources.
I work with: Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum & Instruction, Content Area Teams, Lead Teachers, and Consultants.
I specialize in: Colorado Department of Education Academic Standards, Classroom Resources, District-Level Frameworks.
Maryann Stavney, Learning & Instruction Specialist
My primary responsibility is to support educators in their learning and instructional practice. I work to support schools in implementing their School Improvement Plans and building the capacity of Teacher Leaders and New Educators.
I work with: New Teachers, Teacher Leaders, Instructional Leadership Teams, and Youth Equity Stewardship Team Members.
I specialize in: New Educator Induction and Support, School Improvement Plans (SIPs), Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and Teacher Leader Coaching.
Matt Jones, Curriculum Specialist
My primary responsibility is to support schools in understanding and implementing proficiency scales and curriculum.
I work with: Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum & Instruction and teacher teams throughout the district.
I specialize in: Proficiency scale work and the development of district wide curriculum materials.
