Task Force

The Connect2Learn Task Force brings a mix of students, teachers, parents, district leaders, and others to discuss a broad spectrum of beliefs on technology use in schools.

The Task Force is expected to meet weekly on Wednesdays (9 times) during the months of January, February, and conclude in March, 2017. The Task Force and accompanying round-table events will provide many opportunities for feedback from students, staff, parents, and community members and will be vital in providing guidance for the Connect2Learn initiative.

The purpose of the Connect2Learn Task Force is to:

  * Gather feedback from students, teachers, parents, and community members on the integration of technology in the learning process.
  * Research latest technology trends and current integration models of technology and learning
  * Discuss future steps for our Connect2Learn initiative
  * Draft an initial plan recommendation to the ECS Chief Technology Officer for the first phase (2017-2018 academic year) of the Connect2Learn initiative

Here is the schedule of meetings & round tables that Task Force members would be required to attend if chosen:

* Additional opportunities will be available for Task Force members who wish to visit schools, meet with students or teachers, etc
